Collaborative Research Program

We are inviting proposals for collaborative research projects

Kyoto Institute of Technology launched the Collaborative Research Program in the Center for Advanced Insect Research Promotion in 2016 as an effort to help lead to new advances and discoveries in the broad field of life and health sciences.

As a core member of the center, the Department of Drosophila Genomics and Genetic Resources (DGGR) invites collaborative research projects which improve our understanding of complex biological systems and contribute to human health.

DGGR offers the rich fly resources in the Kyoto Stock Center and the ability to create new resources, especially “species-ized flies such as humanized flies carrying human ultra-conserved sequences or oncogenes.
